Sebastian is a Telecommunication Engineer and Information Security specialist based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. He holds a Master’s degree in Information Security and brings 7 years of experience across network infrastructure, cybersecurity and software development. His background spans the full technology stack: from radio and transmission systems to the applications that run on top of them. As an engineer, he focuses on designing resilient communication networks, conducting risk assessments, and hardening systems against real-world threats. As a developer, he builds secure web applications and APIs with Python/Django and cross-platform mobile apps with Flutter, deploying them to production with security controls such as CSP, HSTS and strict secrets management. Sebastian is currently developing digital products for the East African market, including fintech, community and mobile security applications. He is driven by a simple principle: technology should be useful, reliable and secure by default.
